Cashmere is a rare and unique fiber, only 1% of all fiber production in the world can be classified as cashmere. At 14.0 to 14.5 microns is with no doubt the king of fibers. Handknitted by highlands Andean women artisans. Naturally hypoallergenic, resist odors better than other fiber. Cashmere fiber is hollow allowing best thermal insulation, absorbs up to 35% of its weight in moisture – get the benefit of staying dry and keeping warm. Free of bleach, dyes and pesticides – recommended case asthma condition, Cashmere wool is obtained from weaving the hair of the she-goat Capra Hircus, which used to live on the high prairies of Tibet and Himalayan area, essentially in Mongolia.
